Belly Band The basic system used in sling rescue is the belly band system. The band is used as a backup to the cargo hook which is secured to the airframe of the helicopter. |

Screamer Suit The screamer suit is used to remove ambulatory subjects and can also be used to place additional rescue personnel into difficult locations. |

Aerial Rescue Platform (ARP) The Aerial Rescue Platform (or ARP) is used for extrication of injured subjects, using stretchers and/or spineboards as required. The flight harness is worn by the rescuer. |
